The Crawford County Habitat affiliate is now constructing its 10th house. All existing 9 houses are located in Grayling and Frederic. Monthly payments range from $300 to $400. This income will be used to build more Crawford County homes.

Even though this is a noteable accomplishment for a small county, it just scratches the surface of the need. The Crawford County Housing Commission estimates that 1000 county residents presently live in substandard homes.

You can help fill the need. Here's how:

• Volunteer - We need volunteers to hammer nails, paint walls, hang doors, work at fundraisers and serve on committees.
• Donate - Can you help provide money, building lots, construction materials, appliances of meals for workers?
• Pray - As a Christian organization, we understand the importance of asking God to bless our efforts and multiply our resources.

The goal for 2003 - 2004 is to build 2 homes. We are currently in the process of raising funds to make this dream a reality. This can only be accomplished with your continued financial support and volunteer efforts.
